Jordan sleeps late...

by JS2

A lot has changed when it comes to nightlife in Amman in the past couple of years (3-4 years)......there are 10s of clubs/bars/ pubs to go to in Amman (decent) and they are always crowded on weekends and active during weekdays as well...Recommend: Nai, Shaman, Fez, Harir, Prana....Also, a big deal of clubbing events are taking place....Examples include concerts for Armin van buuren, Ferry, and deep dish.Aqaba also flourished since last year....many famous pubs and restaurants opened in addition to a number of hotels and beach resorts. In Amman, casual wear is the usual. rarely formal. don’t recommend sports wear and some kinds of trainers (pumas are cool)...For the ladies, its okay to show some skin in these places : )

Petra's nights

by solopes

It was fun, the popular festival in the streets of Petra, in a warm Friday night. Though mainly male (naturally... it’s a Muslim country), the occidental women were well accepted, even by the Jordanian women smiling from their discreet chairs in the back. Sympathy and security were always present. Fernanda had her great day. She was happy and danced. A blond... Success!

Around the City: The Arabian Nightlife

by suhail_maddie

Hmm...Jordan Night Life is either Clubbing in a Pub ( Okay by international Standards...the music needs to be updated) or Chilling in a night Club ( Arabic Music).. both of these places are an experience..though it is definetely damn expensive...Make sure u have looads of Money with ya. Casual

The Cave Bar: Petra: The Cave Bar

by MiguelMV

Next to Crowne Plaza Hotel and M?venpick Hotel and very close to Petra's entrance and visitors centre, you can find this bar which is a nabatean cave. Opens till 12 o'clock at midnight, and it's a very nice place where to have a late night drink after a full day visit around Petra. There are also tables outside the cave which can be very nice if the weather is warm enough.

Budha Bar: Night view

by mardaska

A lot have changed since my first visit to Jordan...Nightlife too...The city is vivid...I reccomend a visit to the Budha Bar of the hotel "Le Royal" for dinner or drinks....The view of the city is amazing from up there!! I saw a sign "No sneakers and shorts" but I didnt have any problem wearing my athletic shoes.

Jarash: Ruins at Night

by dr.firas

A small kid in Jarash demonstrated amazing things! The first one was putting a coin under one of the Fundaments! And he pushed the stone so the entire fundament was part moving so the coin was balancing!Wow!The second thing was that he holds a stone in his hand and was hitting one of the big stone and an awesome sound like music was coming out!Hitting another stone was giving a new sound!Again Wow!
