It is save to travel in Jordan! Muslims and Christians have no problems to live together peacefully.At the main tourist spots like Jerash are always policemen caring for the safety.

People are friendly but Not too warm for Aliens,Need more attention to the fact that this place is a Holley land and need Not be spoiled!Take care.

jordan has borders with israel and with the ennemies of israel,the borders are open with 5 countries;be careful,you never know to whom you are speaking

Jordan is a quite safe country. Be patient at the borders.
Be careful. Camels do bite ... ;-)

be prepard to loose a lot of time with custom and the visawhen entering jordan and when leaving.take good care from the taxi drivers
