Marina Crescent: Kuwait's best nightlife

In a country with very little nightlife, the Marina Crescent offers quite a respite. It is a two-floor curved complex of restaurants and cafés, overlooking a marina filled with expensive yachts, and is conveniently attached to Marina Mall, one of Kuwait's most frequented shopping centres. The complex gets busy at night with people dining or smoking shisha or drinking (non-alcoholic drinks, of course). Marina Crescent offers a wide selection ranging from Costa Coffee to Zatar wa Zeit (Lebanese cuisine), and from Hard Rock Café to Asha's (Indian cuisine)

General Nightlife in Kuwait

You may be excited to see Kuwait city at night from the plane but it won`t be the same on the ground. The city will be fully delighted only in second to third week of February and on Eid time. There will be only a few nightlife spots in here. Alcohol, disco, and prostitutions are strictly prohibited. Nevertheless, you may get alcohol and prostitutes illegally. Well, the rules cannt force people not to do anything they want.I cannt give you any ideas to get them though.:-)) Many beauty pailors (Riggae,Salmiya,Hawally) and few Chinesse restaurants (Farwaniya) are offering prostitutes secretly. You have to expand your wings and get to know many people to help you with that as they are illegal.You can make your own parties with friends in friend`s flat whose having liberated neighbors.:-)).After midnite, you may see car race by local people in Jahra Road. A stroll on the beach

There isn't a whole lot to do in Kuwait at night. In Kuwait city there are several good cities, and you have the souk for shopping and modest people watching. But what I recommend is a stroll on the city beach, which is partially lit up by the city lights and frequented by other people strolling, too. Modest, and do not jump into the sea - it's heavily polluted by sewage and old oil slicks.

Out door cafe or restaurants. TGIF (Friday's) a good place to get North American style food.Many outdoor and indoor cafe spots providing shisha or what some may know as a water pipes or hubbly bubbley. Smoking shisha is one of the most relaxing past times in Kuwait. Although Bill is a non-smoker he thoroughly enjoys his shisha. The tobacco in the shisha has a syrupy fruity mixture of flavors one can choose from, such as apple, strawberry, peach, and other various fruits. One can also request the stronger flavors that are popular in Egypt. Tin foil is placed over the top of the tobacco bowl with numerous holes poked in it. Then hot coals are placed on that and you proceed to puff through a long pipe. The smoke is drawn through the shisha into a water bowl witch is filled with cold lemon flavored water which cools the smoke before entering the pipe or hose that you draw on. This then...
