It is convenient and cheap.
They have Lebanese fast food as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza.
It is a very small place but they do have take away and free delivery.
We ate just about every meal we had in Beirut at this place.

We loved the chicken shawarma and the falafel.
They were seasoned well and very tasty.
The chicken shawarma was USD1.98 and the falafel was USD 0.99.

Kasr Fakhreddine restaurant is situated in Broummana, a hilltop village in the outskirts of Beirut in the Mont-Liban district. The restaurant offers a traditional Lebanese menu in a dining lounge with an incredible northerly view of the descending Lebanese mountains and the Mediterranean. Ask for a table by the window!

Trendy dowtown location. Crowded but very chic....especially in relation to the chinese resturants in San Francisco. Great furnishings, try to sit upstairs. (They do have 4 locations in Beirut, I have only been to the Downtoen one...) Good food.

Cafe d'Orient (seen in the background of this photo) is a Lebanese seafood restaurant that pokes out into the Mediterranean just west of the St.-Georges marina. The mezzes are great, and if you can manage to pack in more food after that, entrees specialize in grilled fish. This place reminded me very much of the many fish restaurants around Istanbul--only here, you look at the Mediterranean instead of the Bosphorus.

This is a fantastic Armenian restaurant located in the Achrafieh neighbourhood in Beirut. A delicious and interesting alternative to eating Lebanese food while in Beirut. Prepare a list of favourite old songs for the singer to sing in almost any language!
