Byblos Fishing Club (Pepe's)
After strolling around the archaeological site and the small town of Byblos (Jbeil) it is nice to sit down and have something to drink at one of the restaurants at the harbour.
In the 1960's Byblos Fishing Club used to be one of the most fashionable restaurants in the Middle East. Many famous people came here. Now days they can be seen on all the photos covering the wall.

Bab el-Mina: harbour restaurant
Bab el-Mina means harbour gate, and the restaurant has a superb viev over the harbour. It serves excellent seafood and it is a nice place to sit drinking beer, whilst watching the boats in the harbour.

El Molino: Mexican food in LEBANON!
Ahhhhh.... it was a sign from heaven to find a Mexican resturant in Lebanon. A Californian Mexican Resturant - Black beans included! Great food just like home (California) fresh gaucamole, excellent fajitas, wonderful margaritas. It was a very welcomed find and taste from Cali 3 weeks into my middle eastern holiday. Apparently (I hope I get this right) the owner, Lebanese, lived in LA for 12 years before returning to Lebanon and opened this resturant. & He has this cuisine style down perfect! The resturant is located right next door to the Bylbos Sur Mer Hotel at the Port of Byblos (Jbail) Lebanon. Overlooking the Medd. Sea!
Bab el Mina: Personal favourite in Lebanon
I can't imagine a better afternoon then spending a few hours drinking good wine, eating seafood and tabouleh, admiring the sun setting from the comfy seat in a sea-facing restaurant in the old port of one of the oldest cities in the world... can you?
The staff is very friendly and the fish always fresh.
Favorite Dish: In my three visits there, I've never tasted anything I didn't like. I recommend fish, in all forms and shapes.
e-cafe: Best Steak In Lebanon
Went here on the recommendation of friends who live/work in Beirut. They said it was the best steakhouse in Lebanon and a lunch there comfirmed their opinion. Had the fillet which came with potatoes with a good mushroom sauce and salad and good bread. The portions were very generous. My order was cooked the way I requested. Our waitress was very friendly and outgoing and we had a lot of fun. My others companions had the terimasu for dessert and said it was as good as it looked.
Favorite Dish: Steak fillet.
