I'll give you a wee guided tour of what happens at the Jeita Caves:-

(1) You hop on a gondola and go up the valley, then disembark

There are 2 Jeita Caves you can visit:-
(1) The upper gallery can be seen on foot via a lovely concrete path with extremely slippery steps, stalagmites and stalactites are lit with light from behind. It's ok, but kinda like a procession of people going through all in a line.

(2) The cave is AWESOME!!! You go through it in boats of ~10 people and it is sooo silent and eerie, with the lights underwater and behind the natural sculptures. According to our boat guide this cave is only open to the public during summer.
