was attempted to take photos of the virgin megastore, the jumbo sized starbucks, mc donalds-missed out on buying the paraphernalia in hard rock cafe, simply because it looked less exotic once i set foot there.had to buy books and records from virgin beirut though-for the sheer novelty than anything else. on hindsight, a hard rock, beirut t-shirt would have been a great idea.you'll see roberto cavalli(cant tell if it's genuine) on a gritty street on hamra, a frette store in a posh street(cant remember the name though...), ABC mall is the biggest-stocking the spanish giants MNG and ZARA that's a favourite with lebanese girls. deifnitely anything that says -hard rock beirut, or anything on lebanon-books, music, at virgin.local expos in the area(with the swedish cows) in front of virgin beirut.you can also get bellydance costumes, shishak,etc. didnt' really shop much so i'd fail you here...
