It surrounded by a 10 meters wide ditch and accessible by a bridge which leads to the main gate.Moreover the citadel is protected by a portcullis, a sliding wooden gate, and machicolations.

The crusaders fortified the city and built the citadel after the conquest of Byblos in 1104.The citadel rises at the remains of the old city rampart, at the southern angle of the medieval city.

it seems like as if it is the sunset time!but it is not in fact!the sun was so shining that the photo came out like this!this is the Eastern part of Byblos.

The museum is very small but cutie!the pieces in it are value!and there is a little floor upstairs to see the remains of the few treasures in that mini Museum!

Many houses along the former green line still bear obvious signs of the destruction during the war. Others are newly restored.

Baalbek is a great and very famous ancient place with the Jupiter and Bacchus temples and many other important ruins that should be visited once you're in Lebanon for sure!

This is the Church of the Mother of God!Its near the Jesus statue and it save Beirut from dangerous and gives Blesses!It’s a modern but beautiful church!

The Coast in Beirut is so lovely!People are swimming there and kamping and renting ships and simply enjoying a walk across the sea shore!
