People are so kind, and the site is great for a rest. Smells and colours.Muscat smells to incense and species.
Muscat is a very clean city. All buildings are in concrete in Arab style. There is no skyscrapers. But the Muscat attractions are so spread out.
A tip of 10% is standard in hotel chains and restaurants if the service fee hasnt been included in the bill. It is not custom to tip in cafes or coffee shops. Bargaining is for souqs and taxi cabs.
You will see plenty of date trees in Oman as this tree is very important in the middle east as a source of food and honey. It also helps to block the desert sands from damaging the towns.
