Top Mintaqat Masqat hotels
The variety of sea creatures which could be caught off the Gulf of Oman is simply amazing, judging from the catch freshly taken in at the fish market at Seeb. I managed to take some photographs of the morning scene in Jan 2005, and they are available at the travelogue section of this VT page.
When you approach Qurum Beach near to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, you have to cross a bridge (see photograph). When you look at the water of the creek below, you will be amazed to see schools of small fishes, thousands of them swimming in harmony. This is really something amazing which I have witnessed.
There are lots of seagulls along the Qurum Beach and they are a joy to watch, especially when they are feeding at the sea near to the beach. I managed to take some photographs of the seagulls during the morning along this wonderful beach.
