khareef season
During the summer, from mid-June until mid-September, the khareef (monsoon) arrives from India in the form of persistent daily drizzle. The temperature then drops to a more manageable 25ºC (from the yearly average of 30ºC).As a result, the grey stubble of Dhofar's jebel is transformed into an oasis of misty pastures shared by grazing cows and camels.
