My house in Ramallah: The Best Parties in Town...

Once upon a time I threw some wild parties in Ramallah, DJ and the whole bit. That was a while ago. In Ramallah there are plenty of options for restaurant/night life experiences. I remember Israelis would always be amazed when I told them that the nightlife in Ramallah was pretty happening.... Well, at my own parties I wore what I felt like wearing (we didn't get a chance to get dressed up often). But anyone would be welcome regardless of dress. (once I wore all pink and was called miss piggie all night!)

Stones: Smokin' the Night Away...

Oh, honestly, can't remember if this photo was actually taken at Stones, but needless to say, smoking the arghileh/sheesha/hooka, what have you! is a favorite past time of many Palestinians and foreigners alike! Stones is still in action I hear, despite the curfew and occupation. People never cease wanting to have fun...My friend Anthony on the left there had at least 20 friends of his from Australia come visit him in East Jerusalem/West Bank. Now I think the only 'tourists' who come are the intrepid peace activists... Casual or whatever you like...

People living in Ramallah told me that Ramallah rocks at night. There must be discoteques and bars. I haven't been there yet. But try it out if you are in the area ;-) casual
