there are several food stalls lining the vista point of Mount of Temptation along with the souvenir shops. these stalls sells everything from bottled water, sports drinks, fresh fruits like oranges or lemons or dates, shawarmas, falafel and ice cream plus assorted mezze and snacks and pita bread and arabic coffee. they accept both Israeli Shekel and Jordanian Dinars as these are the two official currencies of the Palestinian Authority at present. Prices are on the high side though, as these are touristy places off course.

Ezzaria Restaurant on the main square (daily 5am-l0pm; cheap) has great chicken and grilled meat, kebabs and hummus and from the terrace has a good view on the main square, usually crowded of people and colours...
Favorite Dish: Ask for chicken and the sides coming with it...it's a lot!!!
