At one of the edges of al Manarah Square you will find an Ice stand with the best Fruit-Ice-Shake in the Mideast!
Especially when it's hot you have a refreshment at hand that is not only sweet and tasty but also very healthy by the fresh fruit that is added.
And it is inexpensive, too. Order a big cup for some shekel and you most likely get a half liter beer mug full of great ice and fruit topped with a little chocolate sirup.
By the way: Don't worry about your stomach: I had this shake a hundred times and never had problems!
Favorite Dish: The big-size Fruit-Ice-Shake in a beer-mug with chocolate sirup on top and two straws ;-)

I told you Ramallah is the Paris of the West Bank, and here there's even the Eiffel Tower! That's where the similarity ends though.
This bakery does very nice Arabic sweets - as in the very sticky, ultra calorific pastries such as knafeh - and some decent cakes. They also some good coffee and fruit juices.
You can find it on one of the main streets coming away from the central roundabout (where the lions are) - its very close.
