Mysterious Nebi Musa
Whether or not you believe that Moses may have taken his last breath here - or even whether or not you believe in Moses - this place is worth a visit. It's kind of eerily quiet...the only sound is the wind whipping across your face. Inside the monastery/mosque, things are a bit dilapidated. You can walk through and view it - admission is free, but I recommend leaving a small donation which I'm sure is greatly appreciated.Outside the monastery/mosque in the surrounding grounds, you'll find some interesting tombstones. Apparently many Muslims request to be buried here in the belief that it is the tomb of Moses.The place has a bit of a sad, haunting feel to it.
