 | Doha Flights and Airline Tips | Tips 1 - 10 of 18 | | In my humble opinion, the finest airline country in the world. I have never been as pampered in coach as I have been with Qatar Airways. Everything from the free travel kit to the unlimited drinks was a refreshing change from the smelly carcass that is Delta service. The stewardesses were beaming and their uniforms were clean and well kept. The planes were in pristine condition as well. If you fly into Doha, do yourself a favor and fly Qatar Airways. My flight in to Doha (my connection before heading on to Bangkok) was an absolute pleasure. I have no fears of flying or anything like that, but I can rarely say that I've enjoyed six and a half hours pent up in the same spot. However, the fact that I did is a testament to the staff and the facilities offered by Qatar Airlines. The staff were uber friendly, and always had a smile on their faces, and the food was the best I've had on a flight. The clincher though was the in flight entertainment, and the revolutionary audio/video on demand. You can choose from a host of movies and music albums, and start and pause them at any time. Brilliant! Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane

Delightfully efficient airport which I used for my connection from London Gatwick to Bangkok. The staff were fully prepared, and the whole process was extremely quick and easy, I was outta there in no time! Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane

making your way to Doha is best done by embarking on their national carrier, Qatar Airways. the experience you get onboard is one which truly brings out the Qatari essence in it in terms of hospitality. Their planes on certain routes are relatively new, which is a joy to be on. Theme: Airplane

Trapped in Doha Airport? Long layover, but not enough time to get out of the Airport? Or do you just want to look cool being greeted at the Arrivals Hall with your name on a sign held by a beautiful young lady. And you get to jump the entire queue at Security. If that was not all, you get all the food and drink you want, comfortable sofas, free internet services and you can sleep stretched out. The price is economical as well. The Bad Part • They do not make it easy to book. The booking form is hellish and you have to send a copy of your Credit Card, front and back! AND….. • NO ALCOHOL. How bizarre. You can buy loads in Duty Free which is all of 3 meters from the door. Sneak it in. I did. Just watch out. Some staff enforce the rules more that others! And they do not have a corkscrew for wine. PLEASE NOTE: You can book the Lounge even if you fly Economy Leave a Comment Theme: AirplanePhone: +974 462 2999Website: http://www.dohaairport.com/0.14.0.0.1.0.htm Other Contact: P.O.Box 22550 Doha Qatar
