When i arrived there on 16th April 2003, Doha Museum was unfortunately closed for renovation . but atleast i got a pic of me infront of it ;-) I hope when u go there it will be open. But my friends and relatives told me that basically its not worth visiting because there are just a few boats and a few other things related to it.

Not a shabby museum for a country that didn't exist before 1971. It is a fine example of the traditional architecture that has largely been replaced by modern villas, shopping malls and skycrapers. Excellent examples of dhows used in the Gulf in pre-supertanker days.
