Others have said that it is acceptable for women to dress somewhat revealing, you may not get carted away but it is considered disrespectful to the culture here. Also especially during the holy month of Ramadan, dress conservatively, no shorts or sleeveless tops. It is really rude to those fasting and it makes those who dress this way appear to be completely insensitive to the local people.
