steak house is a locally developed brand of steak restaurants who has earned itself a prominent place in the hearts and minds of both locals and experts alike. It's most notable sales edge is the all-you-can-eat soup and salad buffet, which is always fresh and tasty.
The service, cleanliness and decor are excellent, and although they don't change their menu as frequently as friday's, applebee's and chilis, their consistent standards of high quality, cleanliness, freshness, good taste and service are notable, and assuring for many people.
they have increased their prices several times in the past 6 years, but they're still worth it.
I personally appreciate the smokey mountain chicken with baked potatoe and vegetables and soup and salad, which is extremely filling, especially with refill on soft drinks
they also have a wide selection of steaks cooked to your liking, with the option of having it continue cooking infront of you (the black rock steaks)
they have a a nice kid's area, and maintain excellent health and hygiene standards
they've been having a special lunch special from saturday to thursday up to 3pm which i think is 35 sar for a sandwich, side item, soft drink (refillable) and open buffet soup and salad, which i think is very filling and excellent value for money

I'm not big on steak, but the sirloin is ok, although it used to be thicker in the past
also the new-world fajits is nice if you're in a mood of trying out several things, dipping and rolling , it used to be served in bigger portions 2 years ago, now its just ok for one person

The Copper Chandni is a chain of four resturants. The food is excellent, the presentation is very nice, and the ambiance is like going to old Bombay.
Open for lunch and then again at 7PM in the evenings.
Favorite Dish: Chicken - Murg Korma, my wife likes the Tawa Prawns

They have started their business with a hole in the wall sandwich shop some 15 years ago as i think, but now, they turned to become the most successful sandwich chain in town, with a very good business. and I love eating their sandwiChs.
They have several branchs including two in down town Qatif, one in Alquds street, one in Saihat town.
Qatif is about 20 km north Dammam city,
Favorite Dish: All kind of sandwiches in very good prices. They have space for you to setdown and eat your food, and you can take your sandwiches out. You may prefer to set by the nearby sea side.

This is what the food court has:
1. Mcdonald's : Burgers and happy meals
2. Popeye's: Fried Chicken and a little bit of fried fish and shrimp
3. Dajen: Fried Chicken
4. KFC: Fried Chicken
5. Peking: Chinese food, i used to like it then stopped liking them after changing their recipes, their noodles are now made of thick yellowish noodles
6. Baskin Robins: Ice Cream
7. Cone Zone: Ice Cream
8. Italian place : i don't recommend , small portions for high prices, the taste is good though
9. Hungry Bunny: Burgers
10. The regular buffet: has shami food and other assortment of stuff and juices, nothing special
11. Cinnabon: Cinnamon rolls

This is basically a source of fresh fish of all kinds with the best prices you could get. There's a huge gap between restaurant prices for fish and what you get there at the fish market, it's just fun to go there and check out the fresh fish even if you won't buy.
One of the signs you could look for to know if the fish is fresh is checking the eyes if they are bright and white circle is still there then it's still fresh another sign is if the gills are still bright red, the darker it becomes the older the fish is.
Be warned that there a couple of tricks sellers may have when selling shrimps specifically, where they may put some big shrimps on a pile and tell you the whole pile is for the price of big shrimps and then when they start bagging they'll bag smaller shrimps for you which are beneath the few bigger ones...
After you buy the fish (make sure the vendor cleans it) you may take it one of two kitchens who will cook it for you in one of three ways (grilled, fried or baked) for a real low price, you could also buy the rice, salad and drinks from there, usually in grilling each kilo is for 5 riyals

Favorite Dish: I usually go there for Canton for the chinese combo meal or la casa pasta for the mixed sauce extra cheese hotdog pasta, Little ceasar's have excellent Lasagna but in limited quantities

This buffet has just the regular, not a fancy place really, but it has Egyptian Koshary, which is a mix of rice, macaroni, lentils, homos, fried onions, and tomatoe sauce, and its amazing!
I personally like to buy a medium koshary plate, a shawerma plate, and then dip the shawrma in the garlic sauce then mix it with the koshary plate and eat it all togther, very filling, very garlicy, but very tasty!

This place is (((((supposedly))))) chinese, and it (((((Supposedly))))) serves chinese food, but it doesn't!
It serves chinese food with Indian dubbing, the chicken sweet and sour, wasn't sour at all, was actually some lumps of chicken swimming in a red spicy liquid, and the rest of the food followed the same scenario!
Beef ala Szechuan :Those beef strips which were supposed to be hot and somewhat thin and a bit crispy, were real soggy and sweet
Not recommeded for anyone expecting REAL chinese food!

Al Bahar means the cpatain in arabic or just something related to the sea, but this restaurant doesn't only serve sea food but also other dishes, such as roat chicken, salads, bbq stuff ...etc.
I used to go their for the fish at first, untill i discovered the fish market and the possibility of getting fresh fish there and grilling them there for almost half as much as in Bahar, and since we eat in the family section which has the cubicle sort of dining area, we figured ot, we'd just buy from the market and eat at home, but if the cubicle is ok with you, it does have good food after all!
Tip: don't buy the fish fillets coz you get very small portions for much more than a whole fish

The ambience isn't that great neither for singles section nor family section, but the food itself is great, they serve lebanese food primarily with a hint of other arab dishes. and the service is above average.
