There aren't a lot of activities to do in Dammam but fishing is definitely one of them, you won't catch as much fish to catch as in Jeddah, but you'll sure spend some time, especially when there's good weather, the fishing spots you could go to are beside Funtime on the dammam corniche road, or in morjan island, just make sure you go at dawn, or sunset, those are the best times, most of the fish will be small to average size, but if there's high tide you may catch a big one, maybe a small shark sometimes, the bait used is usually shrimps, or small fish, plus cuttle fish, cuttle fish cling well to your hook, but catch small fish, while small fish catch bigger fish but little fishes nibble on them faster, shrimps just fall off easily, so your best bet is on cuttle fish, good luck and have a good time

I was speechless when I saw the hall ...the side of the walls were all decorated with ancient instruments , traditional decorations and adorned with arabian furnitures...the ambience is so Arabic , so Persian and so cool ....with nice lightings as well
Not only that , in the middle of the hall there is a pond, so you hear the soothing drips of water ( while you sit down for coffee or when you dine there )...and whats more amazing is that there is a place for you to sit in the middle of the pond...thru a small bridge..there beautiful and striking carpets ( see pic ) covered the sitting place ...( its like those from Aladdin or 1001 Arabian Nights thing , just imagine some harems running around ..heheh )
and above that place hangs a collosal lamp probably 2.5 metres high....what a Persian Paradise...

This heritage building is the jewel of Eastern Province ...a result of 15 years of travelling and passion for Saudi Arabian antiques and architecture....of man ....a man named Mr Saad Al Balahi
The 5 storey fortress like building houses many ancient weapons, apparatus, old photo graphs, jewelleries and many others things that you rarely see. Not only that , you get to dine inside this beautiful place. And to add to the ambience , you can choose to dine in the main hall, in the middle of the pond or any of the Arabian rooms which were decorated with differenr decorations and design of different Saudi Arabian region.
When I stepped into the place I thought I was in a fairy tale of Alladin and the Magic lamp....

Now I have found a lamp taller than me ....maybe there is a genie inside ? Man if the genie in Aladdin's lamp that huge , then this one is gonna be like Godzilla ...better not mess with it !
