This is one of the newest Burger Restaurants that have opened recently in Al Khobar. The Restaurant is located off Corniche Rd. in Turki Centre.
Decor is nice, good wall papers, clean and organized restaurant. Their kitchen is not only open but they also have high chairs so people can sit at the counter and eat there.
Staff is very friendly, you are always greeted with a warm smile and Greeting. Menu is simple, yet they have two special burgers, cheese explotion and cheese lover. Cheese explosion is a double beef burger with cheese melted in it. its sooooo tasty. They use only Angus Beef and according to them, it always arrives fresh. They make their own fries, chicken nuggets etc.
Very good food, great service and hospitality.
The only problem is, they do not have Family eating section.
All Burger Lovers, must go and check them out.
Favorite Dish: My favorite is the Cheese Explotion. This is a double beef burger with cheese melted inside the beef. The burger only has one of their special sauce and the beef, thats it !!! Nothing else goes inside it and when they serve you in the dining, they cut it in half so you see all the melted cheese gooing out.
Very unique burger with such a great taste.
My favorite !!!!!!!1

Pattis France is a French bakery and restaurant, where you can have coffee and croissants or pastries.
They also have a full breakfast menu and it's a nice place to have breakfast, after you have done your weekend shopping in Tamimi Safeway. You can then buy a freshly-baked baguette to take home.

The Isfahani Restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is good. But, when I ate there, I had just come back from a trip to Iran, and I didn't think the food at the Isfahani was particularly good value. If you have not tried Persian food before, however, it is worth a visit.
Favorite Dish: The Kebab Deryaii was not bad, but overpriced at 58 riyals.

Phuket Restaurant is one of my favourite restaurants in Al Khobar. There are two floors and the upper floor is the nicest, with a warm, intimate atmosphere.
The restaurant is mainly frequented by expatriates , especially from the Far Eastern countries, as the spicy Thai food doesn't appeal to most Saudis.
The food is excellent value, with most of the dishes only costing 15 or 20 riyals.
Favorite Dish: One of the restaurant's specialities is Guay Teo Nam, or duck noodle soup. For 13 riyals, you get a bowl full of slices of roast duck in a delicious noodle soup. Another great dish is Tom Ka Talay or seafood soup with coconut milk. It's full of fresh herbs, with plenty of lemon grass. The Kaeng Khiao, or green currry, is another nice dish for only 20 riyals.

Heritage Village is great. The surroundings are better than the food. The pictures, and all the props there are bound to keep you busy. Its a great way to learn a little about Saudi culture.
Favorite Dish: It was too long ago...

This restaurant is Italian by all means. You can tell from the minute you get in there. Its a little romantic, therefore not much of a family place, and not a little fancy, and the food is absoloutly wonderful. What makes the restaurant so Italian is the simple touches it has - its dimly lit, if not a little private too. Its a nice change from McDonalds. The service is excellent.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish would be the one with the different types of pasta in it. Heh. I forgot the name.

This resturaunt is awesome. It has a simple yet easy-going setting, with lots of pictures and props, and the food is great. The service is super-friendly, and you get a large selection from the menu. They have a lot of homestyle dishes, and its a great place to go with friends.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish there would be the country fried chicken, because it tastes great and I'm sure they dont do it this good anywhere else. It comes with mashpotatoe and corn, unless you want it replaced with french fries and the corn with steamed vegetables. They also have other great dishes like the fajita, the monterey chicken, buffalo wings, and the Texas fries and classic nachoes. I dont really go to other resturaunts, as you can tell from my knowledge...lol.

Mr. Burger is somewhat inappropriately named because, although it is a fast food restaurant, it actually specializes in shawarmas and fresh fruit juices.
A shawarma costs just 3 riyals. There is a good selection of fresh juices, including melon and mango.

Heritage Village is a unique and wonderful restaurant if you want to really feel the full Saudi Arabian atmosphere. This Restaurant is actually located in Dammam which is about half an hours drive from Khobar but I am placing it my Khobar pages as I did not go to Dammam that often.
The reason I say this place is unique is because of it's surrondings. It is built like a castle and a guest can choose whether he or she would like to dine "Arabic" style by sitting on cushions on the floor of one of the little dining rooms or out in the open near the water fountain at one of the tables. Each dining area has a different theme and they are all beautifully decorated. The other reason this place is unique is because it is also a Muesum. While waiting for your meal to be cooked, guests can wander around the Muesum and look around at some beautiful old memoribila of Saudia in the past and all sorts of relics of the past from Perfume bottles to War stuff.
Favorite Dish: The dishes all came out in nicely presented in little copper pots, as much as it was all very tasty and very well done, there appeared to be very little of it and when sharing it between four friends it only gave you a small taste of what was been served, we ordered a mixed grill, BBQ prawns, mixed appetizers and a soup. It was all very nice but the portions could have been a bit bigger for four adults. The service was excellent and a waiter was assigned to your table to make sure that your plate was not empty. If I was to go there again, I would no doubt order more than what we did. Like "Abu Nawas" the first restaurant I wrote about, this restaurant also gives you free yummy pillow like bread from the oven.
