Jeddah as a commercial & industgrial hub, most major airlines of the world are available to and from Jeddah's King Abdul Aziz International Airport.
Domestic routes are serviced by the Kingdom's flag carrier, SAUDIA (reservations hotline 920022222), and few privately-owned airlines with limited destinations are emerging.

the importance of this airport comes from being the largest gate to the pilgrimages arriving from all over the world to Makkah to preform (Hajj)or (Umrah)which are the muslim`s way of worshipping Allah(God).
It has three terminals, one for the Saudi Airline, the other is for all airlines and one specially to welcome pilgrimages from all over the globe(it is used only during the Hajj period(which is in February this year).
I took this picture while I was on the plane!

Where to find them?
Everywhere and anytime.
How to reach them?
Simply Scream TAXI or point by your hand they will stop for you. Eye contact is enough to stop them.
Who can ride them?
Both males and females.
How much to pay them?
I remember 10 minute of diving he took about 15 riyals. Just bargain and he might low the price.
SR3.75 to U.S. $1.00.
Taxi drivers are very friendly and mostly from South East Asia + Saudis.
Unfortunately their driving mostly horrible.

There are many car rental offices in Jiddah,I have noticed that most of them are located at Madina Road, heading south.
some are international chains like AVIS rent a car,or it could be some local place.

The fastest and most accessbile way to go around the city is taking the taxicab, you won't miss it, they're all in white uniform color. Negotiate for the fare before even jumping into one, that's how it goes. Taxi meters, though functioning, are not really in use on most taxis, except maybe if you request for it. However, you would end up paying more. Bargaining is the name of the game. Fare ranges from SR5 to 25, depends on your destination.
Coming from the airport to the city centre, may cost from SR30 to 50 (US$8 to 13).
