    After the Mahgreb (sunset) prayer, the Corniche springs into life, with Saudi families dining al fresco. Picnicking is a favourite local hobby, and is regarded as an ideal opportunity to get together for a family chat and a substantial supper. Vendors with handcarts roam the beach, selling candy floss, fizzy drinks and spicy chickpeas

    Women should wear an abbeya and carry a headscarf. Men need to wear long trousers.

    There is probably nowhere more spectacular, here in Saudi, than Jeddah's floodlit Corniche in the evening, where over 400 open-air sculptures provide a feast for the eye. The gigantic King's Fountain, situated opposite Al-Salam Palace, is just across the water. Floodlit by night, the fountain is visible for miles around.

    Women should wear an abbeya and carry a headscarf. Men should wear long trousers.

    People enjoy window shopping because they close at a late time. You could practice walking while eating something or go to fancy restaurant. You also could walk by the beach or go to amusement parks. There are some roofless coffees to enjoy the beautiful winter in the city. Winter in Jeddah is spring to some countries. People enjoy playing cards in those particular places and smoke Shesha 'traditional water pipe'. I was reading members view regarding nightlife in Jeddah or Saudi Arabia in general. It was really disappointing because nightlife dose not mean Bars and clubs. It is more then that. A big city like Jeddah has different things to do. Still if you are a party person you could attend mix gender parties (PRIVET).
