The Jeddah fountain, donated to the city by late King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz (hence the popular name of King Fahd's Fountain) rises some 853 feet (260 meters) from the sea off Jeddah.
This fountain is the highest of its type in the world and is an unforgettable sight, specially when illuminated at night.

Around the fountain area, you can hire either a small pony for your kids or a camel.
a ride is between 10-15 Saudi Riyals.
