my girl friends from work have asked me to arrange for a dine-out evening. since i was clueless as usual, one came up with this place The Lost City which made me feel even more lost.

i arrived there the first just to find myself liking the place and taking a picture of every corner. it looks like a jungle with a little stream and man-made mountains. the restaurant is divided into three sections; a smoking section for shisha; dinner section; and coffee section. that's the weirdest division ever. usually in jeddah, things are divided by gender sections (family and single), so i kinda clicked with this place. the lights are a bit dim which makes a quiet evening out.

the food is good, international; italian, american, mexican..etc. they're also a bit creative about how they present their dishes. my friend ordered a chicken soup - i think - and she was presented with a bread ball that was 15 cm high, with a cover made up from the same bread pot where the soup is boiling inside. that was a new technology:D
