Arabian Camp in Jeddah offers non-divers a trip to the Farasan Islands and the annual Parrot Fish Festival April 2007.
An ancient fishing village, souk and beautiful pristine waters for diving, swimming and fishing, oh and
snorkling in the Arabian Red Sea.

I love it because they take care of everything. Camping tents, transport, mats, dive tanks...
    even a toilet and shower.

For us non-campers or city bound it's a great getaway to appreciate the natural environmnet
of Arabia. Under the stars...no cell phones work here. It's great!

    Take time to go...

Equipment: Just pack an overnight bag with swimming gear (and your personal items like
sun lotion, toiletries you can't live without (or need and want for 3 days) and go.

Unlike public beahces, this one is a closed beache for bathing suits and fishing. Other than that, women cannot swim. It was my first experience as a saudi woman to swim in public.
    Entry fees:
    Adult: SR80
    Couple: SR130
If you have a diving course/member, fees: SR 40 per adult.

Equipment: Available equipment at al-Bilad beach:
    - Banana boats
    - fishing tools
    - hotel restuarant

    son with her fish

We went on a boat trip with Ahlam (Dream) Divers.
On the way back, we trawled for fish, and managed to reel in a few beauties.

    Equipment: They provided everything!
