Youth generations are the pillars of the nation, the government has given great importance to the youth and sport and has built many sport cities and clubs under the General Presidency for youth welfare.
Youth Welfare Headquarters - The General Presidency for Youth Welfare has carried-out execution of modern buildings for its offices including the Youth Welfare office in Jeddah city established 1404 H. The office consists of 3 stories which include the General President's and employees' offices. These offices are provided with all utilities and services in addition to gardens and car parks.
Youth Welfare services reach each and every city and province in order to organize, supervise and upgrade the standards of clubs of various youth activities both in the cities and the rural areas as well as to provide them with financial support for achieving their goals.
King Fahad Coastal City - King Fahad Coastal City contains many facilities such as: the building of the Club which includes the administration offices, the members hall, a Library, and a place for prayers. Games Hall: a covered hall for a variety of indoor sports like basketball, volleyball, tennis, handball etc. The capacity of this hall is 300 spectators, it also includes physical fitness and body building halls.
Bowling Hall - it includes 12 lanes. Squash Hall - it includes four fields. Open Playgrounds - they include basketball, volleyball, and handball fields in addition to the tennis field. Theatre Hall - The capacity of which reaches 400 spectators. It is provided with a large projection screen and audio equipment.
Swimming pool - It is for practicing all water games and activities. The complex also has a restaurant and a rest house overlooking the city lagoon with a capacity for 200 people. The complex organizes tournament and competitions for members and non-members from companies and other corporations.
Indoor Sport Halls - The indoor sport halls were constructed in Jeddah in 1399 H. These halls include Games Hall - the total area is 26.500 square meter. It was designed in a hexagonal shape and consisted of fields with international standards for handball, volleyball, wrestling sport and weightlifting. Its capacity is 5.000 spectators.
Swimming Pools Hall - includes 3 swimming pools with a total area of 32.200 square meter and 2.500 spectators. It also has a swimming pool with an international standard measurements 50 X 25 meters and a racing pool for training, in addition to a pool designed for diving. The hall contains all supporting services such as rooms for referees, trainers, media and commentators, first aiders and medical units, a VIP restaurant, a restaurant for players, rooms for changing clothes and a hall for gymnastics.
It was established in 1393 H. The stadium of Jeddah has a capacity of 25.000 spectators also it includes a Royal hall with a capacity of 88 people, administrative offices and an information center. The football field is a naturally grass-covered ground in accordance with international specifications, surrounded by a track an oval shape field for running and other athletic sports.
