    The National Day

Twenty third Ramadan 1319 is the date on which this entity was established. This date marked the National day of Saudi Arabia (corresponding to 1902 A.D.) The year 1419 marked the centennial anniversary of this dear occasion when Saudi Arabia was founded by the founder King Abdul Aziz Al-Saud. On this day festivals and folklore dances are held by old and young people. The festival of 1419 H was patronized by HRH Prince Misha'al Bin Majid Bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Jeddah. Other government departments including National Guard, Secretariat of Jeddah and number of private sector companies and establishments also took part in the celebration. Jeddah like all other cities celebrated the centennial anniversary at all levels.
