Jeddah .. the Road of the Two Holy Mosques

Jeddah has the great honor to be the cross road to the two Holy cities. It receives Pilgrims and Umrah performers through air land and sea. Jeddah is approximately 73 km away from Makkah and 420 km South of AL Madinah. The people of Makkah AL Mukarramah took Jeddah's port as a commercial port.

Jeddah is one of Saudi Arabia's largest cities where exists King Abdul Aziz International Airport, and Jeddah Islamic Seaport that handles cargo and passenger vessels from all over the world. This large seaport is equipped with ultra modern equipments and receives thousands of pilgrims and Umrah performers every year.

It has several exits and is intersected with a number of main streets where it links the districts of Jeddah together, thus reducing overcrowding of vehicles on the city streets. Among the recent modern road projects in the intersection of AL-Queiza overfly road with the express way to Makkah which reduced the jam in the internal streets and helped streamline the movements of heavy trucks.
