when I came out of the cave around 6 pm ...the sky is already dark ..I was a little worry as the path is not really a smooth one ..but all that dissappear the moment I step out and look at the limestones at night ...gosh ..it looks like Stonehenge..or perhaps more captivating ....with the back drop dark blue sky ......for a second I was actually thinking that I am taking pictures of an alien landscape in MARS ...thats what happens whan I let my imagination run wild ...
whatever my mind is trying to tell ..one thing for sure is that ...its just so out of the world !

well after a few hours journey ...you would want to pull over and freshen up and take a sip of coffee ...and lucky us ..we found this cool cafe ....the interior is decorated with old cooking utensils , old arabic coffee pot ( see the pic ) , an old pump ( for traditional stove ) and guns as well ....
whats more when you can have a cup of French coffee with nuts ....
The cafe also sells Shawamar (roast chicken or beef with french fries, mayonise and a sprinkle of cabbage ) suprisingly , Arabian sandwich which normally cost SR 3 only . I am so hungry just thinking of it ....

The highway to Al Hasa is a smooth one , but 30 kilometres to Jebel Qara is really gonna torture you vehicle , so if possible drive a 4 wheel drive or something for rough terrain. Nevertheless , normal cars can still go there but just becareful of the potholes and drive slower ( start your journey early )
Along the road you can see lots of high voltage cables ..it actually looks like work of art to me ...well after all " everything has its beauty , but not everyone sees it " huh ?

Well I saw this mosque on my way to Jebel Qara ..just managed to snap its picture from afar ...its very elegant and grand for a small place like al Hasa ..there is a story that the Black Stone ( brought to earth by Angel Gabriel ) in the Holy Kaaba was stolen and placed in a mosque in Al Hasa for 22 years ...could this be the one ? But since I am racing against time ..sun is setting soon and I have another 20 km journey or so to reach the place ..I have no choice but to abandon the mosque with a heavy heart ...
thanks to my Olympus Camedia 750 baby with 10 Optical zoom , I managed to get a up close personal view of this mosque ...
wonder what is the name of this mosque ....

Its also located in the Eastern province of Saudi Arabia and approximately 150km south of Ad -Dammam. Left and right of the highway ...you see things like this ...ya camel ...and they are really cool ...grazing happily by the busy highway ....well besides being a perfect transportation for the Arabs for ages ...they also provide a source of meat for them ....

Once you enter the cave ..you feel dwarfed by the tall wall of the cave ...the pathway is not wide ...at times only one person can walk at time...every turn is a new scene ...but each one is as beautiful as the other ....its just amazing to look at how nature and perhaps man carved this cave ....
and thelight is sometimes green ...supposed to give you an eerie sense ...but it wasnt there somehow ..just breathtaking view ....

Many local people visit this cave especially during summer becoz the cave provides a cool shelter ....soem even brought along camping gear or mat for a picnic inside the cave . When you look at the cave ...its like something is pulling you to go inside....beware coz the floor of the cave can be slippery due to fine sands ....me for instance almost fall down becoz I was to caught up with taking pictures ....I was speechless when I stood infront of the cave ...
