  • A Restaurant In Saudi,Medina,By Prophets Mosq: Want To Taste One Of The Best Shawarma Sandwiches?

by JuJuN Updated Jul 15, 2014

The restaurant's setting was really nice, different had a clear and calm atmosphere despite how busy it gets. People know good food when they taste it, they kept coming back for more and the service was wonderful!

It can take some time figuring out how to get served..you could ask someone and ask for a menu.

Its conveniently tucked away at the back...my nose lead me to it and try as i might i havent found any pics of it online and never thought of taking any myself at the time.

Favorite Dish: Definitely the shawarma. they have beef and chicken and they add this lovely white sauce mixed with lots of salad and make it really yummy! You can also add chilli if you like. I had the chicken shawarma each time.

Shing Yang Restaurant: Craving for Far East food?

by radenputra Written Sep 28, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

the best Chinese food restaurant I've tried in Madinah. The food cooked in almost the same way as I've had in Malaysia. Which probably means that they put lots of spices.

i went there almost every 2 weeks, just to satisfy my cravings.

Favorite Dish: My favorite would be the unassuming 'Prawn Fried Rice'. My guess is that they're using Basmati Rice (most here use Basmati, I rarely see Thai or those sticky rice). And fried em with lots of butter and garlic, and big prawns, and some chili. Simple yet yummy. About SR13 per plate.

I also would recommend 'Chicken in Cashewnut Sauce'. About SR20 per plate.

chicken in cashew, prawn fried rice, spicy squid e
