    a mosque with two qiblas

by kenari Written Jun 10, 2007

Masjid Qiblatain. In this mosque, Allah directed Prophet Muhammad, who was in the middle of a sal’at along with sahaba karam, to turn his face from Islam’s first qibla (Bait-ul-Muqqadis) to Ka’bah in Masjid al-Haram. That is why this mosque is known as a mosque with two qiblas

the first mosque in the history of Islam

Masjid Quba. This is the first mosque in the history of Islam whose foundation stone was laid down by Prophet Muhammad himself, after he moved to Madinah. To offer two raka’ats of nafl in it is equal to one Umrah

The graves of the Shuhada Uhud.

by kenari Written Jun 10, 2007

When his body was being taken to for Jannatul Baqi for burial, Mount Uhud also joined the funeral and began moving towards Madinah. After travelling some distance and Madinah became closer, Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said to the Sahabah "Return! If Hamza is buried in Baqi then it will cause great difficulty for the people of Madinah because Mount Uhud will not return. Mount Uhud has deep love for Hamza (RA) - the Leader of the Martyrs."
When Hazrat Hamza's (RA) body was brought back Mount Uhud also returned to its original place and remained there. Indeed the rank of Hamza (RA) is very high.

    Mount Uhud

by kenari Written Jun 10, 2007

Visit this mountain also. Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said that Uhud loves us and it is one of the mountains of Jannah. Close to the foot of Mount Uhud, lay the graves of the Shuhada Uhud. Among them are Sayyadus Shuhada - Hazrat Hamza (RA.) and Hazrat Musab bin Umair (RA) etc. Visit them also and take their blessings. From all those who have been martyred and will be martyred, the highest-ranking martyr in the history of Islam is Hamza (RA). Thus he has been titled Sayyidus Shuhada (Leader of the Martyrs). He is a man of extraordinary position and rank.

    Jannat al-Baqee

by kenari Written Jun 10, 2007

. The graveyard of Madinah, where a large number of Al Sahabah Al Kiram (companions of the Prophet) including Usman, Abbas, Hassan (the grandson of the Prophet), and wives and daughters of the Holy Prophet are buried. This graveyard is close to the tomb of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), right after the courtyard of Masjid-e-Nabawi.
