Assaraya is a famous Turkish Restaurant here in Riyadh. They've been in the business for 20 yrs or so...and that only proves the quality of the food , the service and the price.
We went there on a weekend and so the restaurant was really full.though we managed to get a seat afterwards.
we had homous,mutabal,Hobous (bread), Kebab, Chicken and Veggies on clay pot and Lamb on clay pot.

Cheesecake Factory has a wide selection of cheesecake. They have strawberry (top of the line cake), blueberry, almond nut, plain cheecake etc.
All their cheesecake are omported from California...though the toppings are being done here.
The price per slice maybe a little bit pricey but the taste is worth it..

Alrayan Restaurant is known for its special way of preparing Homous and Mutabal. Though they dont have family area, my hubby and i usually buy from there for take out...Their oven fresh bread is really good...

Dr. Cafe is a good coffee house alternative for Starbucks plus the fact they have a drive through section for those who want their coffee to-go.
They have a very nice selection of coffee and other desserts.

Herfy is an Arabic word meaning a young sheep. A local food chain that proved to match the international food chain like Mc Donalds. It has grown rapidly in terms of its branches all over the Kingdom.
They have family and single areas. They serve burgers, french fries as well as broasted (chicken)

Fuddruckers is an American food chain which is slowly dominating the food industry in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia.
Their food is really great! tasty and yummy!:-)
They have wide selection of food like burgers (sandwiches), potato wedges, chicken, soup, grilled hammour etc etc. and to add that their drinks are refillable.
The interior of both single and family areas are very nice. Big serving of food (good for 2) plus their very courteous staff who are mostly Filipino and Indian.
Note:
They have several branches here in Riyadh but the one that we tried is located along Takhassusi Road.

Felafil Sandwich is a stuffed bread with felafil, egg, fried eggplant, tomato and taheena.
This is the specialty of Gad Restaurant. They have several branches in Riyadh.
Unfortunately there's no family section at their Thalateen St. branch.

Mosaic Restaurant is one of the in-house resto of Marriott Hotel. Their wide selection of Meditteranean and grilled foods are great.
They have about 20 selection of appetizers plus different kinds of breads.
For the soup...they have tomato and artichoke soup.
While for the main course they have 10 main courses inlcuding the grilled meat and seafoods.
Though i didnt enjoy much of their desserts the hot pudding with almonds wrapped up our dinner :-)
The interior is very nice and cozy...very romantic ambience with dim lights and very simple yet elegant design for the whole restaurant.
Favorite Dish: I love their salmon, shrimp salad, grilled beef and hammour.

The interior of the restaurant is good.Dim light, cubicle type , very warm and attentive Filipino waiters.
The food and service is really good. The amount of food is good enough to satisfy your craving for steak or salad.
They used a cute mug glass for their drinks (refillable)
Complimentary bread and butter plus 4 pieces of mint chocolates after meal.
Five spoons for good service, food ambience and location.
Note:
Parking may be a little bit hard esp during weekend.
