Mexico Corner offers great Mexican food with an Arabic twist. Their seafood Paella is really great..fresh Salmon, mussel, squid, Shrimp topped with olives and flavorful rice.

To add that their food presentation is really good.

The interior is really nice..dim lights with cubicle and room type for family area. The place is romantic and peaceful eventhough the location is one of the busiest streets in Riyadh.

The waiters are attentive in getting orders and requests. Though price is a little bit upscale, the food is really worth it.

Favorite Dish: Seafood Paella, quesedillas, Chicken Ceasar Salad, Rollade Steak.

House of Donuts offers freshly baked donuts everyday and better way to enjoy it is to have a cup of cappuccino with you.

My favorite among their wide selection of donuts are chocolate and honey glaze.

Spazio 77: Panoramic View of Riyadh

    King Prawns (appetizer)
    2 more images

Spazio 77 is one of the famous fine dining restaurant in the Kingdom. It is a newly opened restaurant in Riyadh wherein you cna have a panoramic view of the city while having lunch or dinner or just enjoying an afternoon coffee or tea.

The whole place is very romantic, and cozy with dim lights and elegant design of the interiors.
The waiters are all well dressed with their black and white uniform with embroidery for head waiters.

They were all attentive in getting orders and requests. The food arrived just in time after every course.

The only draw back of their too dim light set up for dinner is that, your eyes will be strained after awhile but nevertheless it was fine.

As for the food, i can rate it as average. Personally, i can have the same meal in other restaurant and for sure they can have a better taste compared here. They have few food selections compared to other resto. The food serving is really small ~ good for one person who is very much into counting weight and calories but if you're damn hungry i dont think 1 order of their main course would be enough to satisfy you :-)

Expect to pay more than $100.00 for 2 soups, 2 appetizers and 2 main course.

Favorite Dish: The food that we tried:

    Soup~ SR37.00 around $10.00
    (Lobster Bisque / lentil Soup)

    Appetizer ~ SR 47.00 around $15.00
    Spazio Appetizer / King Prawns

    Main Course
    Salmon Fillet ~ SR 82.00 around $ 30.00
Chicken Breast Fillet ~ SR 72.00 around $25.00

    Softdrinks ~ SR 12.00

    Rice ~ SR18.00

    Chocolate Mousse

Kabbani Bakery and Sweets has been in the business since 1953. They have the best chocolate mousse in town! It doesnt taste like any other choco mousse made of cream and icing. It has a very smooth, rich taste of chocolate with traces of nougat like ferrero rocher. It really melts in your mouth!

    A must try!

They only cater for take out orders.

SAR 70.00 for one whole chocolate mousse

    Favorite Dish: Chocolate Mousse

    Pizza Express: reasonably gourmet

by TomorrowsAngel Written Apr 17, 2004

    vege pizza

It's great to see a 'gourmet-type' place located in a shopping mall, because taxi fares to restaurants are an added expense.
There is the usual family and male sections. Decor is simple and modern - there are some cool 'splash' painting on the walls. The kitchen is behind a glass-fronted counter in the male section.
The menu is kinda italian - with pastas, soups, pizzas, salads and dessert.

Favorite Dish: Garlic bread followed by salmon/dill/a kind of soft white cheese/tomato paste/dill is my favourite with lemon juice squeezed on top just before eating it.
The only dessert I've tried is the tiramsu (non-alco version of course) which is pretty good.

The Golden Palace: hot chill sauce !!!

by neilward Updated Jan 5, 2004

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    The walls are moving

Sadly I cant remember the name of this Chinese, but it was fantastic,we'd be in there just nibbling at the prawn crackers and dipping them in this lovely chilli sauce, slowly but surely it seemed to get very hot in there!!!
We'd ask for some water, slowly the waiter would walk over to us,inwardly laughing at us,,,,,(trouble is we went in there many many times...and always did the same thing, eat chillis and burn our mouths off).
As you can tell by the photo,we're colour blind,we've always liked yellow !!!

Favorite Dish: To many to mention
