Pakistani food matches Indian food. Pakistani hotels are very popular in Saudi Arabia. Generally people from the Middle East and South Asian region like Pakistan food. The food is typically more spicy than the middle eastern or western food but normally it is in acceptable range.
Share-Al-Aam (General Road/Grand Road) is the oldest area in the city and has the major market and most of the Pakistani, Indian and Bengali hotels are there.
Most popular hotels are Mehran Hotel, Al-Zehra Hotel, Shalimar Hotel, Lahore Hotel. The first one more suitable for Non PK locals.
