Bear in mind travel cheques are not accepted in Afrin and surrounding ,
and also If i remember well there is NO exchange offices around there.and Locals will hardly or do not accept foreign currency, be prepped to use local currency when purchasing something.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bear in mind that in winter it is cold,and in summer it is hot.
so you will need a winter jacket etc.
In summer you can wear short ans T-shirts or copy the locals and wear galabeya

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring comfortable flat shoes ,and I suggest to avoid white tennis shoes ,Specially in the winter time.
and on Summer advisable to put on men's sandals since the weather is too hot.
