    Two adjacent caravanserais, Khan al-Tutun al-Kabir (big) and Khan al-Tutun al-Saghir (small) are located close to Bab Antakya (Antioch Gate) on the main east-west axis of the souk. They date from the Ottoman period and were the centre of tobacco trade in Aleppo at the time. Both have a spacious courtyard, but the slightly bigger khan (al-Kabir) is more interesting architecturally, with a double arched portico at the end. Both are used as warehouses nowadays.
