Mashqita Lake is a huge lake (actually a dam) located near the Turkish border. It is a favorite spot for locals to spend the weekend. You can have a nice Arabic meal at one of the restaurants overlooking the lake as you smoke shisha. Then if you fancy, take a boat ride around the lake.
