Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Latakia is a city by the Mediteranean sea and there are nice beaches, at least at Cote d'Azur de Cham.
So you should defenitly bring your swimmingsuit, sunscreen and sunglasses.
Latakia is less conservative then other parts of Syria and here it feels OK to wear a t-shirt even if you are travelling as a single female.
