Tekir Plateu
When you go to Adana, i recommend you to leave the motorway at Pozanti direciton and stop by Tekir Pleateu. This plateu is full of people in the summer. Since Adana is very hot, people run away from the city especially at the weekends to this lovely place. However, during winter there are only a few who lives there. Summer or winter you can alway find a place to eat barbeceu. Just stop by a butcher and buy meat, they would cook it for you and serve it. I recommend tasting "sucuk" there. Sucuk is a sausage made (as of turkey) to resemble bologna.
