Narince Travel Guide

Every so often, buses pass close to Narince on their way between Kahta and Siverek, crossing the new lake created by the Ataturk Dam by ferry. You just have to wait by the roadside and hope for the best!

It might be an idea to listen to the locals before setting out to climb Nemrut Dagi...if they say it is impossible, if they say the snow is too thick, if they say you can't do it, then maybe you should believe them! Looking back, we were fools really...setting off with a bit of bread, no water, no warm clothing, no walking boots, no idea where we were going...I admit it was not the cleverest thing I've ever done, but it was good fun. This picture goes to show how deep the snow is as late as April...
