    Roads upto Nemrut Dag

Luggage and bags: Lightweight day sack- to carry camera(s) films/ digi stuff, water, snack., notebook , fleece etc

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I was there in May, - There was still a lot of snow up there! So- if planning to arrive sunrise/sunset- bring a jacket/fleece, gloves, hat etc. You'll get warm on the climb up, but can get cooler whilst walking around the terraces- or cold whilst sitting waiting for rise/set!
Flat comfy shoes- trainers/lightweight walking boots

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Plasters/blister plasters etc.
    sunscreen
    Water

Photo Equipment: Everything you own!! This might be a once in a lifetime opp!- Well that's how I treated it!
2 cameras, 1 long zoom lens, 1 sunbirst filter, and I used 2x 36 exp film (pre digi days)- a panoramic lens might be a good idea too.

Miscellaneous: For Women-(or those males with man breasts - Moobs!) A well supporting bra!!- The journey to Nemrut Dag, can be VERY bumpy!!!

If not on an organised tour with lokanta/cay breaks- snacks and drinks for your journey.
Sunglasses.- those rays can creep up on you!
    Torch.
Ear plugs for if you want to enjoy a solitary sunrise/set situation.
    Binoculars-

    Windy

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Nemrut Dagi is 2000 metres high so even in summer it can be cool and windy on the top. I visited in the middle of July and that evening some people thought it was enough with a T-shirt while others put a sweater or a light jacket on. I can imagine that a couple of months before or after it can be really cold, especially in the morning.
Don't forget to wear good shoes for walking.
