There are many restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy your breakfast,dinner and supper.Almost every restaurant in Amasya offers you Doner Kebap,Pide or Lahmacun-Turkish Pizza-,and some other most known Turkish meals.

But if you want to try local cuisine of the town,you should go to Amaseia Mutfagi.They have Toyga Soup made with yoghurt,rice and mint,Bakla Dolma,Keskek,Amasya Bun and home-made Baklava peculiar to Amasya.This place is just near the Roman Bridge and at the beginning of the old town.it is a restored Ottoman house facing the Green River decorated with old ornamentals.

If you want to watch Amasyas bird-eye view from the top of the hill rising at the centre of the city,you should try Ali KAYA restaurant.If you raise your head up and look at the hill you will see his name written with neon lights.They serve alchocol and have live music at night...

City Club-Sehir Klubu-is just in the centre near the clock tower.They also serve alcohol and live music at night which might be irritating some times for foreigners not accustomed to Turkish Music.

There are more places to enjoy such as Harsena Hotel,Grand Pasha Hotel and Emin Efendi Restaurant.They are restored Ottoman houses welcoming visitors.
