    Walk at Hamamönü area

    by Tuna_ank Updated Jul 13, 2010

This area has many old houses and Karacabey Turkish bath. There are nice small places for eating something. It is just behind the Hacettepe university hospital. You may pass near hospital on inside from hospital area.

Clock tower and Turkish bath Ata konagi Park

Walk down the hill through Old Ankara

From the Citadel walk to your left and down through the narrow winding streets with various stalls selling dried vegetables, spices, copper beaters and other handicrafts crafts. Again, a glimpse of old Turkey.

Walk around Kemal Ataturk's Memorial, walk along the cobbled pathway, watch the changing of the guard.
