A problem in every city - Taxi Drivers
All taxies in Ankara are yellow, and have the licence "06 T 0001" ( A four digit number between 0001 - 9999 ). They should start the taximeter when you enter the car and you should pay for the amount on the screen when leaving. Between 06:00 - 24:00 it is the daytime charge and it should write "GUNDUZ" ' between 24:00 - 06:00 it is the nightime charge and should write "GECE" If the driver starts a night charge during daytime warn the driver immediately. If communication becomes a problem ( most of the drivers would not know English ) just stop the car and leave for an other taxi. Taxis at the stop points are generally more honest.
