From Istanbul to Ankara by bus
Ankara is located in Anatolia about 390 kilometers to the southeast of Istanbul in Ankara Province (in Turkish: Ankara Ili) in central Turkey.We came there by bus on our ring-way around Turkey from Istanbul Province while going to Hattusas in Corum Province.It took us 6 hours to get Ankara from Istanbul (including an hour for lunch). The E80 (Turkish 0-4) and E89 (after turn at Gerede) roads from west to east were quite good. The E80 follows the Asian Highway 1 (AH1) through Turkey and crosses over the Bosporus via the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge or the Second Bosphorus Bridge.The guide told us that after constructing a new tunnel the road became shorter for an hour.You may watch my 1 min 44 sec VIDEO-Clip Istanbul-Ankara by bus with Ankarali Coscun music.
