In areas around Alanya there are many places where you can take camelrides. Especially near Dim Çay and the Dim Caves. It's really great to sit on these incredible animals and view the landscape.
If you have the possibility try to take a camelride while you are there. But be selective! Some people care more about making money than caring for their animals. If it looks like they don't take so much care of their camels then choose someone else that does.
Don't support abuse of animals anywhere in the world!
A great way to see Alanya and the area around is to rent a car or motorbike. Me and my friend borrowed a motorbike and drove around in the mountains, you have a great view of the city from here! Find a small beach outside of the city all to yourself, explore the small villages in the mountain and view the great landscapes. After a long day on the bike we headed to Dim Çay for a dinner and a bath, a great way to end a perfect day.
Another time we rented a really old car that seemed to break apart if we stared hard at it. The roads in the mountains are not the best and combined with this car it was really a bumpy ride! I had blue marks all over after this trip... And the same day it was a earthquake in the area. No real damage was done, but a lot of windows broke and things inside houses got broken. But as we already were in a earthquake-like car we didn't notice it at all... ;)
The sunset at Cleopatra Beach is magical. This is something you should not miss.
You can take a swim as the sun goes down, the water is warm all day and night.
Ince kum means "thin sand" ...this beach is very famýus with the quality of the sand and its situated on the east of alanya.
There is some lovely places to be seen around the bays of Alanya with sea caves where pirates used to inhabit, take a boat trip and explore the area
one of The main reasons i went on this sunset trip was to take great photos of the harbour and surounding areas at dusk
Here is the harbour as the boat was leaving Alanya, as you can see it was starting to get dark
The sunset cruise started off at Alanyas harbour and coasted around the cliffs of the fortress
This is the life and somthing i can really recommend. Take a boat trip around the bays of alanya and this could be you, hungover after a night on the pi#s hahahaha.
