Toiletries and Medical Supplies: We were told to take one garlic pearl a day for two weeks before we went on holiday to avoid mosquito bites, and it worked!! In our hotel several people were covered in them, but not us. Worth a go - it worked for us and it doesn't make your breath smell

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Alanya can be quite a nusence when it comes to mosquitoes, we found the best method to beat these little bas*ards is a plug in repelent, just buy the little tablets and place them in your adapter every night before you go out

Miscellaneous: Just remember when travelling from the u.k and enywhere else that has 3 pin electrical plugs to take an adaptor, Turkey's electricity is 2 pin
