Girls Girls Girls, Listen up,
Do not believe the Turkish guys for a second. If they have not said anything to you about being married then believe that they most definetly are!!
They do not want the visa, they just want the ride, so know what you are getting into.
Believe me I am speaking from having lived in Altinkum for a eighteen months. I love it here but I am clever now.

Just a few lines to remind anyone who thinks the police are there to help you in Altinkum.There there to protect you but,you may not speak the language and I for one know they do not speak any English.So.Think twice before you get drunk,lose your purse,walk home alone or make a visit.Is it worth the hassle for everyone involved.Remember.Your just a tourist to them and they dont speak English.Just a thought

To all you young ladies out there.Please think twice before believing anything said by the local romeos.After living i Altinkum for more than 3 years now I have it on first hand experience that there undivided attention is all yours for that week or 2.Then......Its all someone elses the next.Your heart may be broken and thats not all you may escape with.Come on girls.there no worse or better than our own but,with such sweet talk you wont be the first to fall and you definately wont be the last.Enjoy yourselves by all means but,not at the risk of your heart and health.

I returned to the Uk on sat 1st July after a horrid last night in Altinkum it involved a member of the group which i was with to be assulted and she ended up very badly hurt with a broken wrist and cracked head!
This meant she couldnt travel home with us and has had to pay a fortune in hospital bills, spent 9 hours in a turkish police station with not a single person speaking English, made to move from her hotel, re arrange flights for herself and her daughter and have money transfered to her account from her relatives! and myselfand her daughter were searching for a translater for the police because they couldnt find one for themselves!!!
This is all because a very drunk English man accused her of stealing his money and his phone, when she just touched it thinking it was one of ours!
Im not saying anything will happen to you but dont trust anyone and never agree to keep an eye on anyones belongings while they dance.
