If you are in Antalya region, take a trip to Aspendos and do... what the romans did :)It is amazing how well preserved is the amphitheater. We have enjoyed climbing the hill behind the amphitheater and, despite the bad maintained roads, and the presence of snakes, lizards and all the wild noises coming from the bushes, I don't regret it.I would...more

We took an organised trip to Manavgat (near Side) where we boarded a gulet to sail down the river to where it meets the sea. We had most of the morning to explore the beach area and swim - water quite warm - or swim in the river - water quite cold! The Gulet crew then barbecued us a simple lunch of meat and salads on the beach which we ate on the...more

What to buy:
In Belek you can find good quality leather things (coats, jackets, skirts or trousers, bags) and very nice jewels (in gold or silver). You can go shopping in the resort you'll stay, in Belek bazaar or even directly to the manufacturer (on the way to Antalya there are many leather manufacturer and jeweleries).
What to pay: Do not expect to snap up a bargain! Despite the well-known negotiations, the prices are high.
In the all inclusive price was an overnight excursion to a tourist attraction and market. As we had spent one night at another hotel (see introduction page) we decided not to take part. The tour guide was livid, he asked for cancellation fees of €69 per person €198 fro the three of us. I naturally refused and they called the room on a daily basis...more

Every time we were transferred by coach from the hotel to the airport, a break at "Sugar World" was a must! As we could see, this is a practice of the Turkish agencies that make transfer arrangements for travelers. This would be sounding well if the shop were a good one. But every time we considered it as a trap. There are low quality goods, more...more
Belek taxi has special rates and significantly more expensive. But as if this is not enough you may be asked even more if you do not know the exact rates. I can not praise Belek taxi drivers for being helpful in any way . If you have to use the taxi first check the rates at your hotel reception . They normally help you there. If unclear ask driver...more
Let me tell you about freezing water in that river :) The turkish guide warned us..the water is 8 degrees cold, so try to stay in the boat :) We did manage to stay in, but the water spashes between "rival" boats and the moment of leaving the boat...brrr...it's really hard to stay with your feet in such cold water..take my word for that.more
All the resorts in Belek offer sport facilities. Tennis courts, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, canoe or windsurfing, fitness room – all are free of charge. You will have to pay only for motorized water sports.
If you are a golf lover, then Belek is an ideal place; in this case it is better to book accommodation in a resort that has its own golf course and you’ll have some facilities.
Considering the fact that Belek is a true resort, that is one spending the holiday in one of Belek's resort will never have to leave the resort (in my case Cornelia Deluxe Resort) to shop or anything in town (which is very small btw). I took pictures 99% inside the resort. 1% was in our rafting day (great adventure!!). Discover with me facilities...more
The biggest outside bar&restaurant . Open 24 hours. Drinks all day&night long. Good alcoholic and non-alchoolic cocktails. The only place where you can eat pizza at lunch (and there were many people ordering pizza...but not us :)) Lovely place to enjoy evenings and late nights. Late buffet served at midnight. Ice cream, peanuts and local treats.more
